I just wanted to give a quick mention to the lovely and talented Emma Taylor and Lorelei Sharkey, better known as Em & Lo, who have been very supportive of Cephaloblog the last couple of weeks. They’ve mentioned me in their blog roundups (aka Blog Snogs) twice now, and I can’t thank them enough. (Check them out here and here!)

For those that don’t know, I interned with Em & Lo for almost a year when they wrote for (the now defunct) Daily Bedpost. They published three of my pieces while there, and they are now back to blogging under their famed names at EMandLO.com (just as the good lord intended - or maybe not?).

Little did I know as a freshman in college, with a copy of The Big Bang by my bedside, that I would one day be working for these incredible writers. By the time I’d gotten to Rec Sex, Sex Toy (my favorite - don’t know exactly why), and finally Buh-Bye, I was begging to be their intern in a cover letter.

My time with them was short, and sometimes I’m sad that it’s over. But I’m happy now to be able to use some of what they’ve taught me on my own, in Cephaloblog. And it certainly is nice to know when I’m doing them proud.

By the way, Em & Lo are not only totally smart and funny (and gorgeous - see above) - they know how to do everything as far as sex is concerned. But what I’ll remember them most for is that they have been (and continue to be!) wonderful mentors to me.

My only regret is that I never got them to sign all my damn books!!!
